Mountains and their extreme conditions have strengthened my personality and shaped my soul. I cannot live without them. If the horizon is flat, I feel empty and my life loses interest.

When I climb to admire next summit, I love to feel my leg muscles burning. Painting physical tension in outdoor sports and alpine environments of bare rock and snow are my two main pictorial motifs in large-format oil on canvas.
